Today, the Internet can be considered a real society. Unlike traditional physical society, only "behavior" constitutes the individual. In such a society, icons that symbolize accounts play an extremely important role, and virtual personalities are incarnated by icons. This work was created to represent different aspects of the same subject, like day and night reflected in a mirror.
This work was first exhibited at Toru Tanno's solo exhibition "New Dawn Fades" at Seizan Gallery in Ginza, Tokyo (Japan) in 2024, where an artist-supervised master print was sold.
The title of the work is taken from the song "The Judgment Is The Mirror" by "Dari’s Car".
