People often ask me what exactly attracts me to these places. I often have to think about this question first. Because for me this question has become so abstract. It's like asking a person why he or she breathes.
But two main reasons are certainly curiosity and peace. Behind closed doors is the only place where my world is really in order. No everyday stress, no problems. No expectations of you. No mental health problems.
Just me, the dust of the past and my camera. It's not a plastic world like we see on social media. It is 100% the way it is.
And I can discover the world as I like. The expression "Illegal Freedom" is very fitting for this!
If I can inspire and enlighten people with my photography, that means a lot to me. But no matter where my journey will take me. One thing will never change. My passion to take a look behind the closed doors of this world.
