Description
This work explores autobiography using DALL-E 2, looking at my arrival in NYC in 1997. Rather than my actual arrival, which was via U-Haul truck in Brooklyn, it has been re-framed as an arrival by ship in lower Manhattan. My own memories often feel like this image: scuffed, glitched, filled with imperfections.
Site-specific work, to be seen, briefly - on April 3, 2024 - in a gallery (Canvas 3.0), located in the Oculus, across the street from where the World Trade Center towers once stood.
