Description
Rupert was 3 years old in this shot doing some laps one summer's afternoon. On a freezing winter's morning when he was a year old, we stayed at my friend's cabin that backs the West Fork Trail in Sedona. It had dropped well below freezing o'night, and he slipped on some ice into the creek. I thought I was going to lose him. But he swam against the flow towards me and I pulled him out. We had a 20 min hike back to the cabin in the cold winter air. Poor 'lil guy.
