Description
After the successful failure of the Protor Horse Model A, The Foreman made some important adjustments. Not only the the inner workings and systems of the Protor Horse B, but also to his testing environment.
It took a bit if arranging, and negotiating without a voice box but he was finally able to ask for transportation and permission to test the horse on Ompu, Gineeren's colorful little moon, home of the Ompu Observatory and Headquarters of The Protor-Sercon royal army of Gineeren.
Protor-Sercons were enthusiastic about the test after hearing about the new prototype and gathered around to watch.
With the last fuse in place The foreman whisked around once again to watch the Horse come to life. With a limiter in place the engine and systems came online much slower than the previous model, but as the eyes began to light up, so it seemed the horses surprise did as well. With its eyes bulging it began to start shaking and rattling just as the model A did.
moments later it sprung forth once again, plowing straight into a couple of Protor-Sercons, giving one extensive and the loss of an arm, while carrying the other off. As its forward momentum kept the Protor-Sercon latched to the head of the horse, before long all any could see was small dot on the horizon. A small dot that became a small mushroom shaped cloud not long after disappearing.
The foreman didn't have much motivation to leave the Ompu moon after that, so he sat facing the field for hours. He sat an pondered what the small explosion was. Had the Horse self destructed?
On the horizon a sillouhette appeared, and he sorang to his feet, rushing out into the valley towards the sillouette. His running pace soon became a walk as he realized that The Protor-Sercon had returned, carrying one leg of the prototype. A clear sign that the prototype wasn't coming back, and that The Protor-Sercon had "corrected the error". Walkong past The Foreman, The Protor-Sercon flung the keg into The Foreman's chest, who wuickly caught it and peered down at it with a look of dissapointment and despair.
The service goal number was still glowing. Another anomoly he coukdnt account for. There it was again, just sitting at 100 and not automatically shutting down.
