This video is another in a collection of videos that uses subject matter and filmmaking devices to synthesize and juxtapose a dialectic or dialectics, continuing to build upon filmmaking techniques from directors such as Greenaway, Lynch, etc. specifically pictures within pictures, split-screen formats, and nonlinear narrative.
This video introduces birds as a symbolic motif, and also doll-like figures as the main characters.
I try to use dialectics and the metaphor of disasters and/or conflict to express psychological and emotional processes.
