"The Torment" is the seventh artwork of the "Lacrima" series. With a name inspired from the Latin word for tear, the "Lacrima" series covers the duality of life, the contrast between tears of pain and tears of joy, expressed through gloomy atmospheres of caliginous and surreal scenes.
In the shadow's grasp, my tortured soul
I find myself losing control
To drown or to fight, to give up or escape
Surrounded by my fears, stuck in this landscape
A landscape of silent screams
Where doubt creeps in
A symphony of worries, a dance with darkness
A song calling for anxiety's harness
Now here I stand
Stranded in the torment's grip
Where I'll strive to find
